Registration fees

The following registration fees apply to those paying online with a credit or debit card, or via bank transfer. Please note that reduced fees are only available if paid until the respective deadlines. Abstract submission is not a prerequisite for the payment.

The registration fee for conference delegates is inclusive of

  • admission to all scientific programme
  • program booklet
  • digital abstract book
  • coffee breaks
  • welcome reception
  • conference dinner.

Tutorials are also included in the registration fee. Tutorials will be held on 19 June 2022, Sunday afternoon, which we encourage all to attend.

Accommodation and lunch is not included in the registration fee and must be booked separately, directly at the booking site of the hotel available via our subsite.

Accompanying person's registration fee includes:

  • welcome reception
  • conference dinner
  • half day tour

Accompanying persons’ registration fee is not valid for admission to the scientific part of the Conference, and these fees do not include conference materials, only the social events.


In the framework of the “Superlasers for the Balkans” project, the US Department of State covers the travel and accommodation costs of 2-2 scientists from Serbia, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Kosovo, and Bosnia-Herzegovina. Payment conditions

All reserved services should be settled within the indicated payment deadline. Reserved, but unpaid services will automatically be cancelled.

Payment methods:

  • secure online bank card payment via the registration system;
  • bank transfer directly to the conference secretariat. By bank transfer, please indicate your name, OTST2022, and your registration ID. Transfer cost and bank collection fees must be covered by the payer.

In case of on-site registration the fees can be paid in Euro or in Hungarian Forint. Besides, VISA, VISA Electron, MasterCard and Maestro cards are be accepted. The organisers regret that cheques and American Express cards cannot be accepted. For further details on online credit card payment, please read our short manual.


Process of invoicing

Please be aware that inserting the customer's VAT number of the invoice payer (if an organisation, not a private individual) is mandatory. For Hungarian and EU companies and institutions it is a strict obligation. Without providing the proper VAT number, the correct financial invoice cannot be issued. Please avoid changing the invoice address and make sure to provide the final invoice address when registering and creating the Pro Forma invoice. The Final Invoice will be issued to the same customer name. Should you need to indicate PO number or any other element which you are not able to insert yourself, or you would like to split items using different invoice addresses, please consult the conference technical organiser beforehand.

Upon receipt of advance payment against the generated pro forma invoice, if the the amount of the total order is PAID 100% IN ADVANCE, our company will issue the final invoice which is not a subject for financial settlement. Thereby no preliminary invoice will to be issued on these payments, ONLY the final invoice. The date of fulfilment on the invoice equals to the actual date the amount is cleared on our account. According to current accounting rules and regulations the actual date of fulfilment, which is the last day of the conference, will also be printed in the text field of the invoice.


Terms and conditions of participation

Advance online registration is a condition of participation in the conference. During the online registration you should accept the terms and conditions of participation as well as the terms of cancellation written on this website. The organisers consider this commitment as a binding written contract. The registration fee/accompanying person’s registration fee may include entertainment allowances, such as catering services, reception, public transport cards, etc. In the final invoice the amount of these services will be indicated as intermediary service. Hotel accommodation orders (if any) are also subject of intermediary service. See also the general terms and conditions here.


Cancellation and refund policy

All cancellations must be made in writing to the conference secretariat (e-mail: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.). If the written cancellation is received by the organizers

  • before 1 May 2022, a full credit/refund of all paid costs minus a 50EUR administrative charge will be issued;
  • from 1 May 2022, no refund will be issued.

No refund will be issued if you do not attend the event.

Between 1 March - 30 April 2022, modification can be requested for the ordered services (e.g. name change), but cannot be cancelled.

After 1 May 2022 no modification is accepted.
